The all-new 2019 Hyundai Veloster N, the first U.S. market vehicle of Hyundai’s high performance line, was first revealed earlier this year at the Detroit Auto Show.  This week Hyundai officially introduced the Veloster N with full details and specifications at Germany’s famed Nurburgring. J.D. Power recently released the results of their Initial Quality Study and we are pleased to report that Hyundai is among the leaders in several categories. Hyundai was ranked second-highest non-premium brand and third overall with Hyundai owners reporting 14 fewer problems per 100 vehicles than in 2017. Every year, Edmunds.com identifies the vehicles in each segment that earn their highest recommendations, and we are pleased to report that the 2018 Hyundai Sonata has landed among their top choices in midsize sedans. The Sonata earned this recognition by offering “confident design, a spacious cabin, and an impressive collection of standard features for the price.” Their judges were impressed by upscale feel of the Sonata’s interior and user-friendly infotainment system. After getting our first look at the all-new 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe earlier this year, it is now only a matter of a few more weeks before it arrives in our showroom! The first of the new Santa Fes rolled off the assembly line earlier this week, bringing with it improved ride comfort, handling and stability through enhanced suspension geometry. Interior improvements include increased interior volume for both passengers and cargo, repositioning of the infotainment screen to reduce glare, relocated switches and handles on the doors to enhance comfort and elbow room.

Phillips Auto Group is proud to have teamed with Chevrolet and the National Future Farmers of America to award a $1,000 scholarship to Karah Anker of Manteno, Illinois. Karah was one of 1,800 finalists to be awarded a scholarship, from over 8,800 applicants, based on her leadership, academic record, FFA and other school/community activities, and future goals.
