Not only does the Kona’s interior offer a 60/40 split rear seat to accommodate a variety of passenger and cargo options, but the Kona was also designed to offer a variety of powertrain options. The traditional gas powered Kona has already arrived in our showroom, but worldwide, Hyundai also plans on offering diesel and electric powered versions in the near future built on the same platform designed to accommodate all three powertrain options interchangeably.

Every year the American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy (ACEEE) ranks all cars on the market based on their environmental friendliness and we are thrilled to report that the Hyundai Ioniq Electric landed at the top of the list as this year’s greenest car! In fact, the Ioniq Electric earned the highest score the ACEEE has ever awarded. The Hyundai Ioniq plugin hybrid also landed in the top ten greenest vehicles.
