Hyundai already offers a great selection of partially and fully electric vehicles including the Hyundai Ioniq. An announcement this week promises even more EVs in Hyundai’s future with the launch of a new Ioniq sub-brand that will expand their electric offerings to a wider variety of body styles and segments. The first vehicle to launch will be the Ioniq 5, a midsize crossover utility vehicle due to launch in early 2021. The Ioniq 6, a sleek sedan, will follow in 2022, and a large SUV named the Ioniq 7 is scheduled to debut in 2024. “The IONIQ brand will change the paradigm of EV customer experience,” said Wonhong Cho, Executive Vice President and Global Chief Marketing Officer at Hyundai Motor Company. “With a new emphasis on connected living, we will offer electrified experiences integral to an eco-friendly lifestyle.” Phillips Auto Group in Bradley has a great selection of Hyundais including plenty of green choices!
