Solar Roof Coming to Hyundai Sonata
Imagine making the short drive to your local commuter train lot, spending the day at work, and driving home without using a drop of gas or even a watt of electricity from the grid. That may soon become a reality in the Hyundai Sonata. This week Hyundai announced that they have developed a solar roof for the Sonata Hybrid that will be capable of providing up to 60% charge to the vehicle’s battery when exposed to direct sunlight for six hours.
