The Hyundai Santa Fe is already a great compact crossover SUB, and it’s about to get even better! Hyundai just announced updates for the 2021 model year, including updated exterior styling, a new optional hybrid powertrain, and enhanced safety features. On the outside, the Santa Fe gets new front and rear fascia and lighting, new power-folding side mirrors, and new alloy wheel designs. A new top-of-the-line trim level called Calligraphy will also be introduced for 2021, including quilted Nappa leather, full-color heads-up display, premium-finish front grille, premium door and seat accent trim, and more. Under the hood, a new standard Smartstream 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine replaces the previous 2.4 liter engine. Available powertrain upgrades include a turbocharged option, as well as a Smartstream 1.6-liter turbocharged hybrid electric powertrain. The 2021 Santa Fe’s upgraded safety features include Reverse Parking Collision Avoidance Assist, Highway Drive Assist, Lane Following Assist and Smart Cruise Control.
