Trim Levels of The Hyundai Elantra GT

The Hyundai Elantra GT is one of the most popular hatchbacks on the road today. Luckily, it even comes in two different trims: the standard GT and the GT Sport trim. First, we'll look at the differences in the engines of the two trims. First, the standard Elantra GT utilizes an inline 4-cylinder engine which puts out a very respectful 161 horsepower. The more powerful Elantra GT Sport, on the other hand, contains an inline 4-cylinder engine which is also turbocharged allowing it to achieve up to 201 horsepower.

In regard to fuel efficiency, the standard Elantra GT gets a combined 26 miles per gallon on the highway and in the city while the Elantra GT Sport gets a slightly lower 25 miles per gallon.
