J.D. Power recently released the results of their Initial Quality Study and we are pleased to report that Hyundai is among the leaders in several categories. Hyundai was ranked second-highest non-premium brand and third overall with Hyundai owners reporting 14 fewer problems per 100 vehicles than in 2017. The Hyundai Tucson was the highest ranked vehicle in the Small SUV segment and came in fourth among all vehicles, and the Santa Fe came in second among Midsize SUVs. The J.D. Power Initial Quality Study is based on problems experienced by new car owners after 90 days of ownership with the segment leaders being the vehicles with the fewest reported issues. “Customers of the Hyundai brand can feel confident that they are selecting a new vehicle that has one of the best initial and long-term quality rankings in the entire automotive industry,” said Omar Rivera, director, Quality and Service Engineering, Hyundai Motor America. Phillips Auto Group in Frankfort, Lansing, and Bradley has a great selection of award-winning Tucsons and Santa Fes in stock and ready to drive home.
